Nikki spent 4 years as an actor and permanent ensemble member of The Melbourne Playback Theatre Company where she honed her skills in creative storytelling, active listening and collaborative performance—creating live theatre from people's real stories on the spot. This unique form of improvisation, finding the essence of human experience, laid a foundation for her ongoing work in connecting communities through performance and the importance of sharing our stories.
